12/7 Update – Kael is still off the vent…

12/7 Update – Kael is still off the vent – but just a little loopie (is that a word!) from the drugs still. Is able to respond to commands, like squeezing hands, etc. – AB

Another 12/6 Update

Good news! They were able to take him off vent. He no longer has the long tube down his throut. Jen’s so excited. He’s breathing on his own. Need to watch him closely because they weren’t positive he was ready. But he was as ready as he could be. Blood sugars doing better, infection starting to breakup in lungs.
: Asked if he is out of the forest, and they said we need to thank God for what we have. It will be awhile. Please keep praying!

12/6 Update

He is doing better. They are making an attempt to take him off breathing tube now. They aren’t sure if it’s going to work, because breathing is still very rough. They are not sure if the breathing is rough because he is trying to breathe thru the tube, or because he still needs ventilator. We will see how it goes over next few hours. They are saying pnemonia is breaking up, so therefore, the infection is leaving the body.
: Praise God. Please keep praying that taking him off tube goes OK and breathing is OK!!!

12/5 update

Everything is still improving, except for the delerium, & they cannot do anything until it get taken care of, and it’s not working well. One thing to know, they are having problems with his IV, and are trying to work that out right now. Should know more on that tomorrow morning. caj

12/3 Update

This morning’s update. His creatine has come down from 3.6 to 3.9 down to 2.9. The kidneys are working a lot better. It is getting rid a lot of fluid. The issue with that there is getting rid of so much of fluid that there has been an issue with hitodium, histodium to the world. The main issue right now is that they are worried about is his skill is experiencing hilerium. He cannot respond to any type of command except l for the skill open your eyes. Other than that he is not doing anything else.

12/2 Update

No change as of right now. Lab results will be back this afternoon. Everything hinging of prograf level coming down from 26 to between 4-6. Pray for that! The good news is he started tube feeding.

Another 12/1 update

Note: Kidney Dr (not normal Kidney Dr) said creatin jumped from 2.7 to 3.6. He is still putting out urine, so he’s not in total renal failure. If he jumps 1 pt tomorrow, they want to send him to Gunderson Luthern across town, Mayo clinic, or Madison. Jen is leaning towarn Madison.
